  • I am not staying at Kellogg. Is there a shuttle that can drive me to the hotel for the conference?
    • Yes! We will provide shuttle transportation to and from the Kellogg Conference Center to the Candelwood Suites and the East Lansing Marriott throughout each day during the conference
  • Which airports can I use? And what transportation is available from each airport?
    • Lansing Capital Region Airport: There are taxi services available from the airport. The Kellogg Center also offers a free shuttle for guests who arrange in advance. Detroit Metro International Airport: See below for Michigan Flyer transportation to/from East Lansing.
  • What are transportation options to East Lansing if I fly into Detroit (DTW) airport?
    • The Michigan Flyer ( is a bus service that travels 12-13 times a day from Detroit McNamara and Detroit North Terminals. The pick-up/drop-off for the Michigan Flyer in East Lansing is the East Lansing Marriott – one of the conference affliated hotels.
  • What are parking options at the conference site?
    • Parking is available for $8/day at the conference site. Discounts may be available at the conference registration desk – ask upon your arrival. Parking is free for hotel guests.
  • What are transportation options for getting in and around East Lansing?


  • What are the benefits of staying in one of the conference affliated hotels versus finding my own hotel?
    • We have negotiated discounted rates for PMENA attendees. You can use the code and link provided on the Accommodations page to book your room. We will also provide shuttle transportation to and from the Kellogg Conference Center to the Candelwood Suites and the East Lansing Marriott.
  • Which hotels are within walking distance of the conference?
    • The conference will be hosted at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center and a limited number of rooms are available at the Kellogg. The East Lansing Marriott is 0.9 miles away from the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.


  • Which meals are included in the cost of registration?
    • For Regular, Student and Guest registrations, all breakfasts, Friday and Saturday lunches, Thursday night reception, and Saturday dinner/entertainment. Friday dinner is on your own.
    • Guest registrants cannot attend conference sessions; it includes only meals and social functions.
  • If my flight is cancelled or delayed, will I be reimbursed for a portion of the conference dues?
    • No refunds of conference dues are possible after 10/16/2015. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance when booking your flight.

Final Submissions

  • Why does my submission type say "Poster" or "Brief Research Report" if I submitted my proposal as a Full Research Report?
    • All Academic does not differentiate between submission type and accepted type. If your proposal was accepted in an alternate format, your submission type will be the alternate format. You should prepare your final paper according to the guidelines for the submission type that is reported in the system currently, not the submission type you indicated when submitting the proposal.

Conference Sessions

  • I will need speakers for my presentation. How do I order these?
    • We cannot provide speakers for individual conference sessions, so you should plan to bring your own. We will have A/V assistance on site to help you troubleshoot any issues with projecting sound. There will be an LCD projector in each session room.
  • Is there a place on campus or nearby where I could print my poster?
    • There is a FedEx/Kinko’s across the street from the Kellogg Conference Center (626 Michigan Ave., East Lansing)
